Creative Get-Togethers are an opportunity on Wednesday evenings to focus on your creativity, in the company of like-minded people, with a cup of tea and a biscuit included! For this Creative Get-Together special, join Syrah to make willow and tissue paper lanterns ready to Light Up Longest Night next month.

This Advent we are adventuring. With the help of Ed Drew's family devotional book 'The Adventure of Christmas' we'll be reading through the Christmas story together throughout December. Alongside the book, we'll be using the matching advent calendar and a daily short video from different people from Emmanuel on our Facebook page. To join in and receive a free Advent pack, simply e-mail contact@emmanuelchurchnorthstowe.org with your name, address and if applicable how many children are in your household (1-4s, 5-11s, 12-18s). 

A fun free event for adults (and teens accompanied by parents), making wreaths, enjoying Christmas drinks and listening to a short evangelistic talk.

Help make christmas more sustainable. Bring your vintage toys to pass on to others and pick up some early presents!

A free event for families. Crafts (including gingerbread decorating) and Christmas snacks. Followed by an all age Christmas service, exploring the Christmas story in an interactive way. Children are welcome to come dressed as nativity characters, and play a part in the story.

Back by popular demand, we'll gather round Northstowe's Christmas Tree by the light of (electronic) tea lights to sing Northstowe's Favourite Carols interspersed with poems and reading from various community figures. Foodies’ Food Trucks will be on the Green 5-8pm, including a bar selling alcoholic drinks for those who wish to indulge or free Hot chocolate will be available from Northstowe Hub.

We warmly invite you to bring along hot chocolates, teas, or coffee to keep those fingers warm as we sing!

This workshop will focus on making lanterns from cereal boxes! Join Syrah to make lanterns ready to Light Up Longest Night at this workshop suitable for even the youngest members of the family. The Northstowe Hub Café will also be open and ready with delicious drinks and snacks!

On Longest Night, we recognise that this season can be hard, for many reasons. We take some time to acknowledging that things can still feel dark even in this season of light.

An all age Christmas service exploring Christmas around Northstowe and the world, with songs and traditions from different nations. Jesus is good news for all nations, and we’ll focus on the wise men from the East, who come to find Jesus. Everyone welcome. Free refreshments after the service.

One of Northstowe's most wonderful Christmas traditions. Once the potatoes are peeled and the presents wrapped, we gather (weather permitting) around a cracking campfire to await the moment when Christmas Eve tips into Christmas Day. And there to celebrate, with bread and wine, and words hallowed by tradition, the miracle of Christmas - God made flesh: love present among us!

Join us for a laid back Christmas Morning Gathering, with pastries, bucks fizz, carols, and storytelling.

Those forming Pathfinder Church come from all traditions and from none: together we are pilgrims on a journey, asking questions and exploring the connections we find between everyday life and our spirituality and faith. What unites us is much stronger than our denominational backgrounds: it is a rooted, growing, and transforming faith based on an encounter with the ancient God who still changes lives today. Our vision is to be people who are praying, exploring and sharing.
